Restoring Joy Ministry has the mission of helping people to restore the joy
they have lost in their life. Most often, people have lost their joy because of a hurt resulting from past events or actions of others.
Stuffing of this hurt and allowing it to fester not only can cause depression and health problems, but lead to a hang up or a habit as well.
Restoring Joy Ministry has Restorative Mentors and a Restorative Bible Study to help free people of their hurt and restore joy to their life.
Restoring Joy Ministry also has an animal assisted visitation ministry with the mission to bring comfort, joy and love to people confined to health & welfare care facilities.
"Therefore you now have sorrow; but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy" John 16:22
This Bible study guide explores twelve Means of restoring the joy a person has lost in their life.
The Means are based on the beatitudes and principles taught by Jesus found in Matthew 5 & Luke 6. We recommend that you consult with a Mentor as you
work through the twelve Means. In a group led by a Mentor is best.
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matt 11:28-30
Restorative Mentors
Restorative Mentors teach Biblical principles of living. Being skilled listeners, encouraging and compassionate the Mentors offer sound, Godly consel in a spirit of love.
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid." John 14:27
Loving Pets an Animal Assisted Ministry
Loving Pets mission is to share the love and joy of Jesus to people through animal assisted visitations. These visitations consist of Christian Handlers and their Pets visiting people confined in nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted care facilities. This also includes foster children.
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35
